Zach Esden

Assistant Minister of Students

Zach Esden joined the Trinity Ministry Team in January of 2008.  As Assistant Minister of Students, Zach works with Steve Bass, our Student Minister.  Zach's focus is our 7th and 8th graders, and he also helps Darren Dean, Trinity's Minister of Children, with the 6th grade class, Club 6.  

Zach was born in Florida and moved to Vermont in 1992, where he graduated from Springfield High School in 2006.  In the fall of that year he moved to Auburn, Alabama to attend Auburn University.  After completing his freshman year, Zach took a year off to work and gain instate tuition.  While continuing to serve the youth at Trinity, Zach will  return to Auburn University in September of 2008 to continue his education. 

• Life Verse:  "In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves."  Ephesians 1: 5 - 6

• Favorite Foods:  I like pretty much all food! But at the moment I'm in the mood for a quesadilla.

• Favorite Movie and Why:  "Ocean's 11 & 12 & 13" - Why?  Because they are awesome!

• Hobbies / Pastimes / Interests:  I love to read the Word of God.  I like to long-board and snowboard.  I also love spending $60 to fill up my car!

• Ambitions / Aspirations:  To own a car that is younger than me.  To successfully be able to complete a back flip off a curb, and to be the next Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

• What Do You Like to Read:  The Bible, C.S. Lewis, John Piper

• People Are Surprised to Know:  My parent's home, where I grew up, is next to the world's longest 2-span covered bridge.

• Best Counsel / Advice You've Ever Been Given:  Accepting Christ will cost you nothing, but following Christ will cost you everything!
