Holly Dean

Assistant Minister of Children

Holly Dean is from right here in Opelika, Alabama. She graduated from Opelika High School in 1993, and has attended Southern Union State Community College off and on since then.  Holly is the wife of Darren Dean, Trinity's Minister of Children, and mother to three precious children, Kayla, Jeremy, and Wyatt.  Holly serves with Trinity's Li'l Depot Ministry (ministering to children ages birth -
kindergarten.)  Above all else, Holly's passion is to serve Christ in all she does.  Darren, Holly, and their three children, served as missionaries in Ecuador prior to she and Darren joining the staff here at Trinity. Holly has been a member of Trinity UMC since she was 12 years old and has a passion for the people here because they are not just a church, but a family.

• Hobbies / Pastimes / Interests:  Walking, reading, and cooking.

• Ambitions / Aspirations:  II desire to draw closer to my Lord Jesus and follow Him wherever He leads.

• People Are Surprised to Know:  I have been a college student for 15 year, and still don't have a degree - however, I am currently enrolled in nursing school and should graduate in May of 2010.

• Best Counsel / Advice You've Ever Been Given:  To love the Lord my God with ALL of my heart, soul, mind and strength and love my neighbor as myself.  From Mark 12: 29
